Though I can't say this one was the most successful, It was my favorite to make. I've never done anything like it before. And it was fun to get outside and do something that people actually looked at. I've never tried to shade with chalk, or do anything with this medium other than hop-scotch as a kid. Plus it was interactive, which made it more enjoyable. But it had it's challenges. It was hard to draw on the brick wall, with the grooves. That's why the background isn't the best. But like I said, this was the funnest to make. I would like to do it again.

Though I don't really like this one at all, I probably learned the most with this. I've never used a grid all the way through before this project; I normally give up on it. Nor have I really shaded with a colored pencil, or done anything that was supposed to look 3D when it was not. So a new challenge all around. That's probably why it turned out so bad. It doesn't look 3D at all (In the first picture). In case you can't tell, it's an old lighter. You probably can't, since I hardly can, and I drew it. : / Okay, I'm moving on now.

I really like this one. Before this year, I never really used a tablet that much for art. And at first, I got so frustrated with the different  layers that I 'rage-quited' on all the practice projects that we did before. But by time I got to this one, I pretty much got the hang of it. I was even able to make the atmosphere darker with a completely black layer in the very back. And I'm really happy with the fog in the background. Oh, and I really like the shading on the trench coat. Uh.... I'm not sure if this is included, but I also like that we did a traditional painting if this digital one.
Though, I think the digital one was better, I like seeing the two next to each other. So there you go. :)

Which one sucked, Mr. Sands? Well.....

This one, to be honest. I really liked the idea and all, but that location sucked, and the cups sucked. If the cups were all the same color, it may have looked better. And if there weren't vines all over the fence, that would have helped too. So I'm not saying the idea sucked, the place and materials did. AND IT WAS BLOODY COLD!!!!!! MY FINGERS ALMOST FELL OFF! Okay, got that out of my system...

Well, in order to answer this question, I have to say something first. I don't think one piece of art can completely represent a person, that would be like describing a person with one letter. But  I can say which one I think shows my own personal style the best.

And that would be this one. I like to do more rustic-looking works like this one. And I make collages quite a lot as well. Also, even though I don't use spray paint that much, I think that the sloppy, rusty-ness of spray paint just fits with my normal style. Of course, there's more to my style than this, but this was the one project that showed myself the best. And FYI, this was a very hard question to answer...
